I am trying to change my template over and am having all kinds of problems with Dland, so if everything looks all wonky and parts are missing, that would be why. ::sigh:: If you came here from the mailing list, looking for a page called lagniappe (http://katiedoyle.diaryland.com/lagniappe.html), I deleted it. It was a serious yawner, so trust me, you're stoked. No matter how hard I try, I can't make it any better, so basically it went like this (and the synopsis is still painfully boring): I inadvertently managed to experience Schwarzenegger propaganda/spin firsthand, and now I can't stand the guy, because wow, what a liar. I have a whole new understanding of how spin works, though, and those of you who bother to educate yourselves on political issues should be Really Freaked Out, because when it gets right down to it, you stand no chance against an uneducated voter happy to accept spin at face value and the machine hell bent on supplying said spin. Customer service boils down to "whatever, just fix it." On the same day as Dubya's Stay the Course speech in which he still tried 6 times to imply Iraq was connected to September 11, House Republicans voted 217 to 189 Dems NOT to increase spending for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and yet Democrats are the unamerican traitors who fail to support the troops. Insert drink the Kool-Aid comment here re: Iraq and September 11. Dark chocolate may be good for your heart...woohoo! The dark chocolate Twix, though? Really not so much. I have gotten addicted to the yahoo game Noah's Ark, in Expert Flood mode, since Expert Freefall got too easy. Somebody stop me. Peace out, copyright 2002
