Katie Doyle, Girl About Town

Here I am again, at work, writing you people. There's an awful lot of that going on, lately; I just got reacquainted with and added to an email list for a bunch of my old "gang," and I've been posting to the list while I log, as well. I have to say, it's been pretty neat getting reacquainted. Especially hooking back up with some of the people I really loved and have thought about a lot over the years. And on top of that, 2 or 3 of them have sent me private mails telling me I had an impact on them way back then, which is like the coolest, nicest thing ever. I had no idea. It's just really great to hear that someone you really liked thought so highly of you, as well. I heartily recommend sharing the love. :)

And now I have to go back to work, because as soon as I started this, some yahoo decided what I really needed to spend my day doing was transcribing interviews. Ah, the glamour. ::sigh::
