Katie Doyle, Girl About Town

Dude; I may totally grow to love this new haircut...I got carded again today! (and lest you think I have a drinking problem, I was picking up wine for dinner later in the week, honest!)

I also have all kinds of fun finds for Friday, so be looking for that, and the first wave of Katie's 80's, Vol. 1, cd's is away...all 5 of them. :) Come on, peeps, PLEASE help me rebuild my 80s music library! I'm jonesin' for some tunes!

I was going to hold off on this post until after Gilmore Girls is over, and then chat about it with That33Girlie and Jenn* about it, but I had to go out and run errands this afternoon, rather late in the day, and it did not occur to me I would not be back by 8, so I missed the beginning of the episode and to call home to ask Ty to please shove something in the vcr and hit record right now. And I'm pretty sure the vcr was set for SP, and I'm pretty sure any tape he grabbed had less than half the tape left to tape on, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss the last however long of the episode, too. Alas. So, Jenn, Girlie, if you wanna fill me in on what's going on, I will love you ever so.

And speaking of Gilmore Girls, and Paris and Doyle and Rory and Logan, Jenn girl, I so *know*. Did Doyle tell Paris he didn't wanna see her anymore, or did he just go out of town like Logan did? And what the hell, Doyle just lets himself into Paris' room all sick and take care of me? I think Rory just overreacted when the guy she was seeing - who told her he doesn't want to be in a relationship - went out of town for a week or something and then she eavesdropped on his phone messages somehow...how did that happen, anyway? A guy who isn't into relationships gave her the code to access his voice messages? She had his cell by mistake? What happened there??? And Rory, can we talk? Girl, a guy who isn't all gung-ho for relationships is never gonna be actual relationship material. That whole thing is just so very doomed from the start. Show of hands: who here thinks Rory is gonna end up preganant and/or heartbroken in the season finale? I myself am voting for pregnant. I am *sure* of it. And can we get a big thank you for 33Girlie for explaining the whole Kirk thing? Because man, was that confusing. Thanks about a million for clearing it all up, and no, you are *not* a geek! Or at least, not a major one. ;)

I hope the entire episode (barring the missed 10 minutes at the start) tapes, so I can find out what's up with Logan's dad being all mean to Rory and all that.

And now that I have obsessed over a television show for a good 20 minutes, I should go start making dinner, because I am hungry, and that chicken and tarragon and rice isn't gonna cook itself.
