Happy happy joy joy!!! I went by the makeup section of the drugstore tonight, which I never do, because frankly, I had pretty much given up all hope of ever finding a truly water-based makeup that didn't feel goopy and didn't break me out, ever again. Seriously, I have gone most of the last 9 years without makeup, because Revlon quit making the springwater makeup I wore, and switched - along with everybody else - to freaking cyclo- and dimethicone-packed "water-based" foundation products that broke me out all over the place and felt heavy and greasy on my face, not to mention having to be removed with soap or makeup removers that stripped all the healthy oils from my skin, and even then left stains on my linens. I finally bailed out of foundation all together and despaired of *ever* being able to feel pretty again. That was before Ultimate Cover. :) At long last, a makeup that rinses away clean with just water and my Wondercloth! And actually, I don't even need my Wondercloth, I just like the exfoliating action. This stuff is awesome. AWESOME, I say! It's water-based. Really water-based. Like, completely absent of -methicones of any type, just water and propylene glycol, talc, a bunch of other standard makeup-y chemicals, and stuff like eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, camphor, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e acetate), clove leaf oil, menthol, and cucumber fruit extract. I don't care whether those are actually helpful to my skin or not - IT'S WATER-BASED, PEOPLE!!! IT RINSES AWAY CLEAN WITHOUT SOAP! IT DOESN'T STAY CAKED ON YOUR SPONGE!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE INCREDIBILITY OF THIS? HUH?! DO YOU?! I seriously couldn't be happier, unless it came in a lighter shade, because I'm really fair-skinned, and even the lightest shade is too dark for me. But it's seriously awesome to be able to wear makeup again and look all clear-skinned and non-blotchy. Because people, when you leave your 20's, your skin starts to do weird stuff, and it isn't pretty sometimes, and it just gets worse, the older you get. So I am seriously thrilled this stuff rocks. AND, it's only like $4 a bottle! Seriously, does it get any better? No. No, it most certainly does not. So thank you, Wet 'N' Wild. Thank you very much. :) Peace out, copyright 2002
