Katie Doyle, Girl About Town

My job interview seemed to go well today, and I'd actually really really LOVE to work on the show, which never happens for me. Usually I just want the paycheck and the show is something vile about bitchy self-taught interior designers with the hugest collagen-plumped lips ever, hitting on waaaaay younger men and tooting their own horns about what awesome human beings they are because every once in a while they save a dog from the pound. Or shows where 15 women fight over one guy who will cheat on them with some other ex-Laker Girl pharmaceutical sales rep with big boobs and delusions of grandeur roughly 3 weeks after shooting ends. But this show is actually about interesting stuff, and the job - which pays really crappy even before you figure in the amount of responsibility it holds - sounds like fun, despite how much work it will be. I actually want it. So in true Hollywood fashion, I'm betting it'll never happen. ::sigh::

The weather is really gorgeous today. I should go out and do something.
