Katie Doyle, Girl About Town

Other uses I neglected to mention for the $500 million I want:

I would pay all the medical bills for That Girl and her son and put that little guy thru college. AND send the family on a loooooooong vacation, so they could just be together and suck up all the joy they could find in life. And I can't believe I didn't think to list that in my rant.

I would also pay all the medical bills for a woman I know who is one of the sweetest people on earth and who was just diagnosed with abdominal cancer without the money or insurance to pay for it. I'd also give her family and sister and her sister's family and their parents money so they could take this time to just be with Reyna without worrying about bills or all that crap that gets in the way and amps up your stress when someone you love is dying. I would get Reyna the best treatment out there and send her family with her, because it's not here, wherever it is, and a family should not be apart for this kind of thing.

So prayers, if you got 'em, please, for Reyna, who has a husband and two young sons and is way too young herself, to be dying, and for TG and her little Jake and her big man, too. Because no one that little should ever have to have open heart surgery, and it breaks mine that he has already and is again, and that they've dealt with all the horror they're coping with AND kept a sense of humor and hope in life.

Where the hell is $500 million when you need it?
