So I've decided to join the weblog wave and start my own hiphop weblog; beats the heck out of setting up an entire site when I just wanna yak, anyway, doesn't it, dear readers? Welcome to the big 2000's...or the Aughts, as I am sure they will come to be called by the elitist snobs at the top. Gotta have a catch phrase to describe every decade, don't we? Something descriptive to place each group of ten years into a tidy little box. Especially with Republicans running rampant thru the streets, crying havoc and letting slip the dogs of war. Is that like crying wolf, do you think? If Bush screams we're in danger often enough, don't you think we'll all stop listening? I know those stupid terrorist alerts don't mean a thing. Think about it: there's no way in hell we'll ever get back to green; in the best of worlds it's an impossibility, let alone the one we live in. Guard your rights, America. Here's an idea, gentle readers: learn to think for yourselves. Go out on that limb and use your brain. Take out the owner's manual. Get familiar with it. Do a little light reading and just take your brain for a spin. It's a heady job, but someone's gotta do it. May as well be you, seein' as it's attached to you and all.

My political work here is done for the day. Best I slip you into it gently, anyway. God knows actually thinking for yourself can come as a bit of a shock when you're not quite used to it. Be there, be aware.
