Katie Doyle, Girl About Town

5 Unhappy Things:
1. I got passed over for promotion this week. I personally think that sucks.

2. I haven't had a good night's sleep in what feels like forEVER.

3. Yesterday was rife with miscommunication, and I cried twice. Hard.

4. I have a headache that will NOT go away.

5. Someone broke my chair at work and now I have to slump forward to reach the desk, and it's killing my shoulders and upper back, not to mention turning me into a stoop-shouldered drool monkey.

5 Happy Things:
1. Several people of a good level in the company, and some who aren't, made a point of telling me how sorry they are I did not get the promotion I was hoping for.

2. I have been cast in an independent film. This should really be #1 on the list of Happy Things, but I wanted to cancel out #1 on the Unhappy list first.

3. First day of rehearsal is tomorrow night...or tonight, since it's after 3am.

4. The pretty, pretty logger guy at work has a girlfriend, so I can stop thinking of him as the pretty, pretty logger guy at work, now. This is a relief, because he's so pretty, it's sort of like staring into the sun.

5. I get to go to bed, now. I love bed. A lot.
