Done with the job, which has its good and bad points. On the one hand, no more asstool and going home feeling beaten every night. On the other, no more handy paycheck, either. Cashy money rocks. I do have a website to build for someone this next week and my own book to finish. I'm toying with applying for unemployment, in case it takes a while to find a new job, but TB hassles the crap out of me for that, so I don't know if I will or not. I haven't had much time for photography or Pete's book while I've been working, which is kind of a bummer, so I can't say I'm all fired up about starting a new gig. And I need to figure out what to do for a living, anyway. I'd really like to go back to school, so I'm thinking seriously about table waiting. Maybe it's a less onerous activity when you don't have to freak out over whether or not you'll make rent. I'm doing a photography project called 365 Days, wherein you take a self-portrait every day for an entire year. I'm doing my project around my shoes, because I don't like pictures of me, but I love my Converse All-Stars for days and days. I missed 6 days when I was sick (still coughing and can't get entirely rid of the laryngitis - no singing for me - but I feel a lot better), but aside from that, I take an image even when I have absolutely no creativity in me, whatsoever. Oddly enough, my shoe pictures are pretty much the most highly viewed images in my flickr stream. It's bizarre. Here are a few of my favorites so far:
And that led to this one, just for the fun of it: Hope everybody's doing well. Hopefully I'll get to do some catching up this week. Peace out, copyright 2002
